A long-standing tradition

A long-standing tradition was continued this year: as usual, the annual MINDA games afternoon took place on the last Friday in January.

This is what shining winners look like: Dirk Juras (Doppelkopf), Stephanie Friedrichs (dice games) and Arne Wittenberg (skat) from left to right.

With the active support of many colleagues, the canteen at the Minden site was once again transformed into a cozy games room. Tables and chairs were moved, sandwiches were prepared – the best conditions for a successful afternoon.

The games afternoon started punctually with a total of 38 participants. This meant that participation was significantly higher than in the previous year.

The three tried-and-tested disciplines of skat, dice games and Doppelkopf were played. All game rounds were well attended, so that points were collected over several rounds with changing players. In addition to sporting ambition, the focus was above all on interaction, lots of conversation and plenty of laughter.

It was a pleasure to have a colorful mix of participants from numerous departments. As always, retired colleagues were also invited, ten of whom participated enthusiastically, including our senior boss. In addition, managing directors Robert Falch and Sascha Falkenberg did not miss the opportunity to join the games.

When all rounds were finished, points were counted and the rankings for the award ceremony were determined.

As it is tradition, the three last places were first presented with a special gift before the trophies were handed over to this year's winners. To loud applause, Arne Wittenberg (skat), Stephanie Friedrichs (dice games) and Dirk Juras (Doppelkopf) were able to celebrate their respective victories and receive their trophies. The MINDA games afternoon 2026 once again demonstrated how important joint activities are for cohesion within the company, promoting solidarity and exchange across departmental boundaries. It was a successful afternoon that made us look forward to next year.
